City First Homes hires new Program Manager

Happy October Everyone!

Welcome to the latest blog post for City First Homes.  CFHomes is a DC Govt-created program that provides $75,000 Down Payment Assistance Loans.  Our program helps people buy a home in DC at a cost less than renting, and build significant wealth through home ownership.

First,  we would like to introduce our new Program Manager for CFHomes, David Ogunsanya. David is a native of the Washington DC area and is very happy to be part of the team.

Prior to working for City First Homes, David served as the Program Associate for the Northside Coalition for Fair Housing in Pittsburgh, PA. David successfully coordinated daily operations as a liaison between the Pittsburgh City Council, the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and Department of City Planning.

In addition to management of the organization community redevelopment process, David also facilitated fundraising initiatives for the Annual Women’s Walk for Peace, promoting Domestic Violence Awareness.  He is happy to be here to serve the Washington DC area.
